Men's Soccer Routs North Country

The Hudson Valley Community College men's soccer team won easily as they defeated North Country 9-0 on the road on Sunday afternoon in Saranac Lake, NY. 

The Vikings outshot the Saints and were led by Kevin Kampula and Jacob Altamirano, who each posted two goals on Sunday afternoon, but the Vikings offensive player of the game was Cheick Meite, who posted a hat trick, scoring three goals to help put the Saints away early in the game.  Akili Bahati and Matthew Beattieeach scored one goal.

The men's program is back home for their final home game of the 2021 season as they take on Onondaga this Friday, October 8 at 6 p.m. at the Outdoor Athletic complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College.
