Hudson Valley Community College men's soccer (5-3-1) ran into the NJCAA's No. 2 ranked Herkimer Generals on Wednesday afternoon and were defeated 4-0 at the Outdoor Athletic Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College.
The Generals jumped out to the early lead and scored all four of their goals in the first half. Following the halftime break, the Generals and the Vikings continued into a scoreless half, with Herkimer claiming the shutout victory over the Vikings.
The men's soccer team is back home this Saturday, Sept. 28 as they are scheduled to play Bergen at 1 p.m. at the Outdoor Athletic Complex on the Hudson Valley campus.
