Golf Shoots Season-Best 331 at Niagara

The Hudson Valley Community College men's and women's golf programs competed in the Niagara Golf Invitational on Friday at the Willowbrook Golf Course in Lockport, NY.

The men's team had its best score of the year as they placed fifth overall with a combined score of 331. Individually, the Vikings were led by Lane Jenkins, who finished the 18-hole round with a final score of 79.

Sam Fair continued to shoot well as he posted an 82 and Markahm Daly and Devin Gilbert rounded out the best-four scoring for the Vikings. Daly finished with an 84 and Gilbert posted an 86 in the 18-hole tournament.

Sierra Yetto had a great weekend with back-to-back rounds this weekend as she shot a 125 at Willowbrook on Saturday.
