The Hudson Valley Community College golf program hosted its annual golf invitational this afternoon at Frear Park in Troy, NY. The Vikings finished second with a final score of 333.
Cole Stannard (Coxsackie/Coxsackie-Athens) finished with the best individual score for the Vikings men's golf program as he finished the 18-hole tournament tied for fourth place with a 79. Anthony Bisognano (Colonie/Colonie) also earned a top-5 finish as he completed the round with an 82 score.
Nick Schrowang (Catskill/Catskill) and Nathan Fankhanel (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa) rounds out the scoring team for the Vikings. Schrowang posted a final round score of 83 and Fankhanel recorded an 89. Max Conti (Galway/Galway) finished with a 108.
The golf program is back in action next Sunday, May 5 when they travel to participate in the Genesee Invitational.
