Pigott Leads Men's Basketball to Fifth Straight Win

The Hudson Valley men's basketball team won their fifth straight game after defeating Clinton 87-67 on Wednesday evening in the McDonough Sports Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College. 

For the third straight game, the Vikings jumped out very early on their opponent as they entered halftime leading Clinton 44-28, which eventually led to a convincing win.

Leading the way for the Vikings was Iziah Pigott, who finished with a game-high 22 points on eight field goals and 5-for-6 from the free throw line. Ryan Long and Avery Deas also finished the game in double figures as the duo combined to score 27 points. Long finished with 15 points, while Deas added 12 points.

Hudson Valley doesn't have long to wait before they are back in action as they travel to play Fulton-Montgomery tomorrow, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. in Johnstown, NY.
