The Hudson Valley men's basketball team won their second straight road game after defeating Adirondack 98-68 in Queensbury, NY on Wednesday evening.

The Vikings offense put up 50 points in the first half as they cruised to their 14th win of the season behind a strong performance by sophomore Zach Hilton. Hilton led the way offensively for the Vikings as he finished the game with 17 points, which ties his career high at Hudson Valley.

Hilton led four Vikings in double-figures tonight as Iziah Pigott continued to play quality basketball. Pigott finished with 13 points, which marks the fourth straight game in which Iziah has scored at least 13 points or more in a game.

Jordan Lewis and Avery Deas both finished with 12 points. Lewis has now scored double-digit points in back-to-back games for the first time since Dec. 8, 2019 when he hit three straight double-digit scoring games. Deas has been coming on of late for the Vikings as he has now started the last nine games for Hudson Valley.

Adirondack's Tavon Price exploded for a game-high 32 points on 12 made field goals, which included one three-point basket.

Hudson Valley returns home for a pair of games this weekend. The Vikings host Schenectady on Saturday, Feb. 1 at noon in the McDonough Sports Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College. They will also host Kingsborough on Sunday, Feb, 2 at 2 p.m., immediately following the women's game.
