The Hudson Valley men's basketball team suffered a tough 82-78 loss to Finger Lakes on Saturday afternoon at the Alumni Recreation Center on the campus of Siena College.
The game featured several runs by each team. In the first half, the Viking pulled away late in the half and entered the break leading the Lakers 41-32. The Vikings were led by Ryan Long as he scored team-high 12 points in the first half, which included a pair of three-point field goals.
In the second half, Will Aybar scored 11 of his game-high 19 points, including three, three-point field goals. Brandon McKenly also scored 11 points in the second half and provided several key defensive blocks.
As the buzzer tripped, the Vikings fell to the Lakers by four points. Hudson Valley is back in action tomorrow, Sunday, November 24 when they take on Corning at the Alumni Recreation Center on the campus of Siena College.
