Men's Basketball Defeated by Herkimer

Herkimer defeated Hudson Valley men's basketball 76-69 on Jan. 25, 2020.

The Hudson Valley men's basketball team was defeated 99-69 by the defending national champions, Herkimer on Saturday afternoon in Herkimer, NY.

The Vikings fell behind early and trailed by 30 points in the first half of play. Herkimer had seven individuals score in double-figures, including Jayden Stephens, who scored a team-high 16 points.

For Hudson Valley, Brandon McKenly (Brooklyn/Leadership & Public Service) followed up last night's double-double with another nicer performance, finishing with a game-high 18 points. McKenly scored 13 of his 18 points in the first half. Zach Price (West Sand Lake/Averill Park) also reached double-digit scoring and finished with 14 points 

The Vikings return home on Wednesday, Nov. 13 for a Region 3 and conference matchup against Adirondack. The men are scheduled to tip-off at 7:30 p.m. in the McDonough Sports Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College.
