The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (9-11) fell to North Country Community College (12-9), 81-75 on Saturday, Jan. 29.
The Vikings pulled within five points after falling behind by 15 with four minutes to go, but North Country's long range shooting was too much in the end. Kalik Parker (Ragsdale/Jamestown, NC) had a game high 25 points and eight rebounds. Anthony Robustiano (Mohonasen/Rotterdam) recorded a double-double, scoring 20 points and 10 assists. The two teams split the regular season series, each winning at their home court.
The men's team heads to Columbia Greene Community College on Tuesday, Feb. 1 for a 6 p.m. game. The Vikings look for revenge after falling by four points to Columbia Greene earlier in the season.
