The Hudson Valley Community College (16-8/10-8) men's basketball team was held to its lowest scoring output of the season in a 71-57 loss at Mohawk Valley Community College (12-10/10-9) on Saturday.
Hudson Valley shot just 39.7 percent (23-for-58) from the floor and 30 percent (6-for-20) from beyond the arc.
Freshman guard Justin Gallo (Brunswick/Lansingburgh High School) led the way for Hudson Valley with 17 points, six rebounds and five assists. Sophomore Corey Harkins (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs High School) added 13 points and sophomore Zach Bye (Scotia/Scotia-Glenville High School) chipped in 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Anthony Hall and Joel Almeida had 22 and 20 points, respectively, to pace Mohawk Valley.
