The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team nailed 16 three-point buckets in a 98-66 win over North Country Community College earlier today in Troy. Hudson Valley improves to 2-0 on the season and will travel to Morrisville on Friday, November 14 for a 6 p.m. contest.
For the second straight game, Hudson Valley had five players finish in double-figures scoring. Sophomore guard Tim Kindlon (Delmar/Bethlehem High School) led the way with four three-point baskets and 16 points. Sophomore forward Bill Heslin (Schaghticoke/Hoosic Valley High School) added 15 points. Freshman center Larry Tape (Cicero/Cicero-North Syracuse) contributed 14 points, and freshman guards Aric Kucel (Gloversville/Gloversville High School) and Maurice Frye (Middletown/Middletown High School) chipped in 12 and 11 points, respectively.
