Harbaugh Named NJCAA Player of the Week

Hudson Valley Community College football student-athlete, Cameron Harbaugh was recognized as the NJCAA Division III Football Athlete of the Week following a historic performance in the Vikings 28-7 win on Sept. 21, 2024. Cameron was also recognized as the NJCAA Region 3 Football Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. He was previously recognized following HVCC's week one win over Thaddeus Stevens.

Harbaugh, a Mountville, PA. native, had a big passing day, setting program records with 36 completions and 53 passing attempts. His 407 passing yards and four touchdowns placed him second among the all-time program leaders.

As a team, the football program is off to a 5-0 start to the season and have been climbing in the weekly NJCAA football polls, most recently ranked No. 3, following the team's homecoming win.

On the year, Harbaugh has already reached several of his 2023 season statistics and he is poised to lead the team into a tough second-half schedule in October.

The football team returns to action this Saturday, Sept. 28 as they travel to play Erie at Williamsport South High School in Buffalo, NY. The game is scheduled for a 2 p.m. kickoff.
