A two-time All-Northeast Football Conference performer at Hudson Valley, Ernest Jones was named a Second Team NJCAA All-American in 2003. Jones finished fifth on the team with 45 tackles in 2003, clogging the middle of a Hudson Valley defense that allowed only 85.6 rushing yards per game. He recorded 10 tackles in The Graphic Edge Bowl against Ellsworth Community College.
Jones finished with 111 tackles and 14 sacks during his senior year at Lehman High School, earning All-League, All-City and All-State accolades.
