Fortnite (1v1): Aren Culligan
In order to receive points for the match, players must first finish in the top 10. Aren Culligan is the lone member of the Vikings esports program competing in the Fortnite tournament this semester. The tournament kicked off last week and will continue every Monday, featuring back-to-back matches beginning at 7:05 p.m.
Rocket League (3v3 - Best-of-7): Jake Cavert, Alex Chlud, Giovanni DellaPorta, Daniel Fortune
The Rocket League team is currently ranked 7th in the NJCAAe tournament after they defeated Jackson College Jets 4-3, their toughest match to date. Upcoming Match: The Vikings Rocket League team takes on Monroe Community College on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Solo – Best-of-7): Mitchel Clow (Team 1), Nicholas Ely (Team 2), Noah Snyder (Team 3)
Mitchel Clow (Team 1) remains undefeated at 3-0 this season and is currently ranked 2nd among all NJCAAe Super Smash contenders this semester. Upcoming Match: Mitchel is scheduled to take on top-ranked Hunter T. from the Calhoun Warhawks this week.
Nicholas Ely (Team 2) is ranked 131st overall this semester. Nicholas dropped a tough seven game match to Jaden P. from the VU Trailblazers. Upcoming Match: Nicholas is scheduled to take on Seth. M. from Snow College this week.
Noah Snyder (Team 3) is currently ranked 111th in the main season of the Super Smash Bros. tournament. Noah won by forfeit against Patrick G. from Crowder College. Upcoming Match: Noah is scheduled to compete against Landon R. from Monroe Community College this week.
Rainbow Six Siege (5v5): Abdul Rafeh, Karter Bailey, Kyle Coonrad, Amanda Estrella, Jalil Garibaldi, Aden Mugrace, Shane O'Hare
The Rainbow Six team is currently ranked 6th in the NJCAAe Rainbow Six Siege tournament this semester. The Vikings dropped a tough series 2-0 to Snow College last week. Upcoming Match: They are scheduled to play the Roughrider eSports team from Crowder College this week.
Valorant (5v5): Angelo Hermo, Riley Drew-Cross, Matthew Kazanjian, Ryan Maser, Michael Yelle, Elena Williams, Sierra Yetto
The Vikings Valorant team is currently ranked 8th among all NJCAAe Valorant teams this semester. The Vikings dropped a tough match 13-0 to Monroe Community College last week. Upcoming Match: The Valorant team is scheduled to play Lackawanna College this Friday.
