The NJCAAE has finalized its Fall 2020 schedule and has released dates for the regular season, playoffs and championship rounds for the 10 games being offered this semester. The fall regular season is set to begin on Sunday, Sept. 20 and will run through Saturday, Nov. 14. The playoffs will run the week before the Thanksgiving break from Nov. 15 through Nov. 21.
Additional post-season matches will be scheduled in December with the NJCAAE Championships scheduled to take place on Saturday, Dec. 5 and Sunday, Dec. 6.
Fall 2020 Season Dates
Regular Season: 9/20 – 11/14
Playoffs: 11/15 – 11/21
Break: 11/22 – 12/4
Post-season Show Matches: TBD (December)
Championships: 12/5 – 12/6
Season Play
The season is an 8-week, queue-based swiss style play where participants play one match per week, per title. The regular season match-ups will be set every Sunday by 6 p.m. EST. It is encouraged all participants log in and review their match ups on Sunday night. The default game days are set to begin at 6 p.m. EST on the day that has been set for each gaming title.
If you need to reschedule your match, use the Match Chat function to talk to your opponent and find a time that works for both teams. Rescheduled matches must be completed by 11:59 p.m. EST each Saturday. All scored must be reported by Saturday at 11:59 p.m. EST. Missing two scheduled matches is grounds for disqualification.

Playoffs
The top performers from the regular season will be invited to a single-elimination postseason bracket. The size of the bracket will be determined by the overall participation numbers.
Championships
The final matches will determine winners for each gaming title through a single-elimination tournament.
Post-Season Matches
For teams who did not qualify for the championship playoffs, the post-season matches will feature a series of show matches between these programs who did not qualify.
