The Hudson Valley Community College men's ice hockey program reached the pinnacle when they won the 2001 NJCAA National Championship on March 11, 2001 in Bottineau, North Dakota. The Vikings won the best-of-three series in straight games (5-2, 9-7) over the hometown Bottineau program. We caught up with head coach Ron Kuhl to discuss the 2001 season and his recollection of one of the greatest seasons of his professional coaching career.
