Thomas, Hurlburt Garners Weekly Region 3 Honors

Two members of the Hudson Valley bowling program were named the NJCAA Region 3 Athlete of the Week following their outstanding performances last week. Congratulations to Anthony Hurlburt and Jordan Thomas. 

Anthony Hurlburt Player of the Week                     

Anthony Hurlburt

Sport:  Bowling

College:  Hudson Valley Community College

Hometown:  Hoosick Falls, New York

Hurlburt led the Hudson Valley Men's Bowling team to a first place finish at the latest Mountain Valley Conference match held Friday.  In his first block of games he posted scores of 248, 268, and 259 for a three game total of 775.
   Jordan Thomas

Sport:  Bowling

College:  Hudson Valley Community College

Hometown:  Lake Katrine, New York

Thomas has been performing at her best all season and she continued last week with
back-to-back-to-back matches. She posted a game-high 201 with a 557 three game block on
Friday and ended the weekend with a second place finish in the Schenectady Invitational with a total score of 905, just five pins off the leader.
